Key Points

  • The Ronin RESTful API is now LIVE! It’s a new API that developers can use to query NFT collections by metadata, wallet address, and token details. This makes it easier than ever to track NFT ownership and trading history on Ronin.
  • Developers can also use the Ronin RESTful API to retrieve detailed information about blocks, transactions, and token balances, and more. Analyze the flow of transactions, verify payments, and monitor the overall health of the Ronin chain with more detail than ever.
  • You’ll need a Sky Mavis account and a Developer Account to access the Ronin RESTful API. Note that the RESTful API is not related to the deprecated Ronin REST.

Developers are the engine that powers every blockchain – including Ronin. As we forge ahead on our journey of progressive decentralization, we’re thrilled to release the Ronin RESTful API. Query NFT collections using a variety of parameters, and retrieve more detailed on-chain information than ever before. The Ronin RESTful API puts more power in the hands of the Ronin community and dApps. Here’s everything you need to know:

What can the Ronin RESTful API do?

The Ronin RESTful API allows developers to explore that information. Query NFT collections by metadata, wallet address and token details. Retrieve detailed information about token balances & transfers or blockchain & internal transactions. A simple use case would look like this: query Ronin with the API to find out which address owns the most CyberKongz Genkai NFTs. A more complex use case might look like this: query Ronin with the API to make a list of all addresses that bought a CyberKongz Genkai on the secondary market in July.

The choice is yours.

Step 3: Use the Ronin RESTful API

Final Thoughts

When we launched Ronin in 2021, we embarked on a journey of progressive decentralization. Today, we’re taking another step in that direction by empowering developers with new tools to explore our ecosystem – the Ronin RESTful API. Let’s keep pushing forward.
