Last week, we distributed early access RNS to Sky Mavis team members and prominent Axie & Ronin creators. We’re in the process of distributing Protected names to our ecosystem and game partners.

The Ronin Name Service (RNS) Public Sale is LIVE! Secure your .ron name at https://id.roninchain.com. Anyone can now craft their own gamertags that will soon integrate throughout the Ronin ecosystem. We’re onboarding the next generation of Web3 users and gamers – one RNS at a time. You’ll also be able to create new RNS names after today’s public sale. However, remember that other users are claiming popular RNS names right now. Get the names you want before someone else does!

What can RNS names do?

An RNS is more than a name: it’s a pillar of your Ronin identity. Today, we’ve integrated RNS with the Ronin Wallet, Ronin Explorer, Mavis Market, App.Axie, Sky Mavis Account Service – and more integrations are on the way. Here are a few things you can do with .ron names:

Use as gamertag across Ronin ecosystem

How to Secure your RNS Name

You’ll need a Ronin wallet funded with RON to secure an RNS name. Click here to download the Ronin wallet. Afterwards, you can fund your wallet with RON by converting fiat-to-crypto with our partners at Ramp and OnMeta, or bridge assets from Ethereum using the Ronin bridge. Special Collection Auction is LIVE

The Special Collection RNS auction is happening now! Acquire rare RNS names from four special collections: bushido, gaming, animals, and 4-digit numbers. During this 48-hour auction, starting prices for names may vary. Auction winners will receive the names they won as soon the auction is over, and people who have been outbid will receive a refund if a higher bid is placed. Owners of RNS names can also trade their names on Mavis Market.
