This marks a significant milestone in Ronin’s journey towards an ecosystem beyond gaming and into consumer-focused dApps. There will also be many ways for users to earn rewards, as well as a few benefits for Ronin Waypoint users. Here’s what’s happening with Community Gaming and Forkast:
What is Forkast?
Forkast is an onchain prediction market. Buy and sell tokens that represent a future event outcome – and profit when you’re right. For example, picture a market for the question, “Will Pixels reach 2M DAU by Christmas?” In this fictional example, users would vote YES or NO. On Christmas, the users who voted for the correct outcome would receive onchain rewards from their counterparty. However, there are even more ways to earn rewards on Forkast.
Prediction credits, weekly loot boxes, and extra tokens for $CGX stakers. Leaderboard rewards. Daily liquidity incentives. Referral opportunities.
