We’re thrilled to introduce Free Swaps to RON! Starting today, every wallet will receive five no-fee swaps to RON per day. That means you’ll be able to swap ETH, USDC, AXS, and SLP to RON for free, five times per day! This feature is an important step towards empowering the next generation of blockchain gamers with digital property rights. Here’s everything you need to know:
How it Works
We’ve all been one step away from completing a transaction only to find out we didn’t have enough to cover gas fees. Free swaps to RON address that problem! These free swaps take place within the Ronin wallet during the transaction confirmation step. First, visit the Katana DEX and connect your Ronin wallet. Next, select the RON amount you’d like to swap to. That’s where you’ll see the “5 Free Swaps” option. Confirm the transaction, and you’re good to go!
Note that this feature only works when using the Ronin wallet on desktop browser extension. It is not yet live in the mobile app.
Why are Free Swaps to RON Important?
Free Swaps to RON are one small step in our mission to empower the next generation of blockchain gamers with digital property rights. When a new user discovers Ronin, we want their experience to be as easy and intuitive as possible. That’s why every Ronin wallet already starts with twenty free transactions – of any kind! However, these can run out fast. Our new Free Swaps to RON feature reduces the chance of a user finding themselves without enough RON to cover a transaction. If you ever find yourself with insufficient RON to process a transaction, you’re now one free transaction away from swapping your tokens to RON to cover the fees!
