On June 18th, Ronin took a major leap forward by announcing zKEVM. With over 1.5 million daily active users, Ronin has become the largest gaming blockchain in the world. Scaling to the next hundred million users isn’t just a dream—it’s inevitable. And with zKEVM on the horizon, the Ronin movement is ready to experiment with more ways of unleashing our community.
The Ronin community is packed with builders, creatives, and visionaries – all eager to leave their mark. Here’s how we’re going to unlock that potential:
NFT Collections Built by Ronin Community Members
Starting today, Ronin community members can apply to launch their own NFT collections on Ronin. Community-made NFTs – built by the community, chosen by the community.
During this first wave, the Sky Mavis team will review applications and select the Top 10 collections. Then, we’ll host a token-gated vote for RON holders in the Ronin Discord to determine the final winners. If everything goes according to plan, three or four NFT collections will make the cut! Here are a few examples of collection ideas to get your creative juices flowing:
- PFP-based community projects
- Music NFTs
- Premium art
- Virtual pets
- Utility NFTs
- Gaming assets
- Trading cards
- Sports memorabilia
- Comics
Collections can be related to Axie and Ronin – or not! We’re open to any and all ideas. Put your best foot forward and submit!
Applicant Requirements
We’re looking for a small number of high-quality collections during this initial phase of applications. That’s why we’re limiting applications from Ronin community members who meet at least two of the following criteria:
- RON holder
- Mystic Axie holder
- 10,000+ Axie score
- Current or past Top 1,000 player in Axie Classic or Axie Origins
- Verified member of the Ronin Creator Program
- High-quality artist (direct or commission) for Axie or Ronin
- Community moderator or volunteer for Axie/Ronin events
Only apply if you have the resources and commitment to see your project through. You should have a plan to make the Ronin community proud of your collection. Here’s how Sky Mavis will support successful applicants with the initial launch and go-to-market phases of their collections:
- Mavis Market listing support
- Mavis Market Launchpad support
- Ronin Wallet integration
- Access to the Developer Portal
