Lumiterra Gameplay Guides

Lumiterra is a multiplayer, open-world survival game chock full of gameplay paths. For example, players can specialize in a Talent Profession: Combat, Farming, or Agriculture. Some will play solo, while others will play as a team. The energy system can also take some time to master, and the learning curve can get steep in a hurry. Step 1: Download Lumiterra here

Step 2: Create your avatar and enable PvP mode by following these steps

Step 3: Complete the Beginner Quests in the Land of Departure. This can take some time, but will serve you well later. See an overview here.

Step 4: You’re ready to explore Lumiterra!

New Features in CBT 2

Equipment Enhancement: enhance equipment above level 1 and receive an entry into the Enhanced Lottery every time you do.

Dungeon Updates: Dungeons now have 6 difficulty levels, which players can leverage to earn more rewards. Higher difficulty → Higher scores → Higher rankings → Higher rewards.

Introducing Centennial Trials: This is a new Dungeon with nine levels. Complete daily challenges to earn level rewards, and earn more rewards from a prize pool that increases every 30 minutes

New Escort Slime Event: Protect a Slime from enemy attacks and earn rewards for successful missions in this team-based, open-world PvP game mode.

Revamped Beginner Tasks: Learn gameplay basics with three NPCs in the Land of Departure. Gunner teaches task fundamentals, Nash teaches skills, and Hsaki teaches incentives.

Totems are LIVE: Place totems in Lumiterra’s open world and teleport to any one of them.

Introducing the LUA and LUAUSD Tokens

The LUA and LUAUSD tokens are LIVE on Ronin and the Katana DEX! These tokens play an important part in Lumiterra’s in-game economy, incentives, and DeFi infrastructure. Think of it like this: Axie has AXS. Pixels has PIXEL. Lumiterra has LUA. Here’s what these new tokens are all about:

LUA: Lumiterra’s Main Token

During CBT 2, LUA will serve as the primary currency for in-game item trading, energy requirements like Totem activation, and reward distribution. There are a few ways to get LUA: 

• Earn it through gameplay
• Swap for it on the Katana DEX
• Bridge it from another chain onto Ronin. 

Players can also deposit onchain LUA into the game, although you’ll need to reach a reputation score of 1,500 to withdraw LUA out of the game.

LUAUSD: Lumiterra’s Stablecoin

LUAUSD is a stablecoin that plays an important role in minting fresh LUA through the Lumi Finance DeFi protocol. Learn more about LUAUSD’s role in Lumi Finance here.

Final Thoughts

Lumiterra joined the Ronin movement in June, and has been shipping relentlessly ever since. Their last closed beta test made huge waves – and this one is open to more players than ever.
