What is Play & Kollect?

Play & Kollect is a gamified, on-chain experience at the heart of the CyberKongz ecosystem. Earn on-chain rewards. Discover your Kong’s utility. Connect with new NFT communities. One season lasts 10 days and always features fresh prizes. There’s a lot to discover in PnK, so let’s start at the beginning with Adventure Runs.

Adventure Runs

Adventure Runs are the lifeblood of Play & Kollect. Send your VX Kongz on Adventure Runs to gather Kongium and redeem it for prizes including $BANANA, exclusive NFTs, and more. Kick off an Adventure Run from your CyberKongz dashboard once PnK goes LIVE.

How to Start an Adventure Run

Step 1: Get a VX Kong on Mavis Market.

Step 2: Connect your wallet to the CyberKongz app or website here.

Step 3: Enter the Adventure Portal. If you’re in the Dashboard, click “Go to Portal.” If you’re in the Map, select the Portal near the southern tip of the island.

Step 4: Select your VX Kong, contribute enough energy, and choose your VX Kong’s total adventure count.

Step 5: Start your Adventure!

Remember: PnK is not LIVE yet – it will go LIVE on Ronin soon.

The CyberKongz Play & Kollect Dashboard

The Play & Kollect Dashboard is where a lot of magic happens. It’s where you’ll claim $BANANA rewards, acquire Kredits, and manage your in-game inventory from Gear to Consumables. It’s also where users kick off Adventure Runs, which is how you can collect the loot that will help you climb the P&K leaderboard. Here’s an overview of some key assets you’ll come across in Play & Kollect Adventure Runs.

The $BANANA Token

What is it: CyberKongz ecosystem utility token 
How to Acquire It: Swap on the Katana DEX, receive $BANANA yield from a Genesis Kong, win the P&K $BANANA Jackpot Prize Pool
Utility: Exchange $BANANA for Kredits

Kongium

What is it: Non-transferable in-game resource
How to Acquire It: Loot it in Adventure Runs
Utility: Level up your VX or commit it towards the $BANANA Pool

Kredits

What are they: Non-transferable in-game resources
How to Acquire Them: Exchange $BANANA for Kredits
Utility: Spend Kredits to go on Adventure Runs or enter into the $BANANA Jackpot Prize Pool

Medipack

What is it: Non-transferable in-game item. There are two types: Basic and Elite Medipacks
How to Acquire It: Find Basic Medipacks on T1&2 Adventure Runs, and purchase Elite Medipacks with $RON from the resource menu
Utility: Restore HP of your VX

Gear

What is it: Transferable, on-chain equipment that strengthens your VX Kong in Adventure Runs
How to Acquire it: Loot in Adventure Runs or buy it on Mavis Market here
Utility: Equip your VX Kong with Gear before an Adventure Run in MS Kongz.

Mystery Box

What is it: In-game reward containing various prizes. Mystery Boxes are part of a loot system
How to Acquire It: When a VX runs into an Encounter during an Adventure Run, they will face an enemy with a randomized Gear Score. If the VX is successful against the enemy, they will receive a Mystery Box.

Prize Pools

Play & Kollect features two Prize Pools that refresh each season: the Kongium Prize Pool and the Jackpot Prize Pool.

The Kongium Prize Pool

The Kongium Prize Pool starts with 10K $BANANA every season and increases as users go on Adventure Runs. Visit the Treasury on the Jungle Map Adventure Map to commit Kongium for a chance to win part of the $BANANA prize pool at the end of the season.

Complete Adventure Runs during the Season → Visit Treasury → Commit Kongium →  get your share of the $BANANA pool at the end of the season

Jackpot Prize Pool

The Jackpot Prize pool starts with 0 $BANANA, and increases as users go on Adventure Runs. VX Kongz that spend some amount of Kredits in a season will be entered into a raffle to make it into the lucky 100, who are then eligible to win a share of the pool after a second random draw.

Spend Kredits during an Adventure Run season → Receive automatic entry into raffle → At the end of the season, win a share of the prize pool (if you’re lucky!)

When you log into the CyberKongz Dashboard, the first thing you’ll see is the Jungle Adventure Map.

Jungle Adventure Map

The Jungle Adventure Map is the main navigation menu you’ll see when entering the Play & Kollect dapp. Switch between Map and Dashboard and see key details including your current connected chain, Season and Prize Pool details, as well as $BANANA, Kongium, and Kredit balances. Here are seven key points of interest you can find on the map:

MS Kongz

This is where you will manage your VX, equip Gear and heal.

The Klaw

Redeem your Golden Tickets to draw 1 random NFT from The Klaw.

Adventure Portal

This is where you will send your VX on Adventure Runs. In the latest release you can select the Tier of Adventure Run you wish to challenge.

The Temple of Rising

Use your EXP and Kongium to level up your VX. Higher levels will have more HP and the ability to challenge the higher tier Adventure Runs.

The Bridge

This is where users will have to go to bridge their assets to Ronin. There are two sides to the Bridge: Polygon <> Ethereum and Ethereum <> Ronin. Assets on Polygon will have to be bridged to Ethereum before being able to bridge to Ronin. The latest release is on Ronin, so assets on Polygon will be redundant after Season 69.

The Treasury

This is where users can partake in the various Prize Pools. There are now 2 Prize Pools. The familiar Kongium commit Prize Pool, and the new Jackpot Pool.

Mysterious Cloud

A Mysterious Cloud lingers over the North West coast of the island.

The Klaw!

A couple of years ago, the CyberKongz asked themselves a simple question: how can you reward loyal CyberKongz holders while attracting new holders into their ecosystem? They came up with a one word answer: The Klaw!The Klaw! is a protocol that distributes NFTs from non-CyberKongz collections to CyberKongz holders. Redeem a Golden Ticket to receive an NFT from The Klaw! This incentivizes cross-pollination of various NFT communities and the CyberKongz. You’ll need Shredz and Kongium to craft a Golden Ticket, which you can learn more about here.
