How to Play During CBT

Forgotten Runiverse is a free-to-play MMORPG built around the Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult. The game revolves around a player-driven economy set across vast landscapes teeming with formidable foes. Players can craft items, band together in guilds, compete in PvP leagues, and more.

There are four main experiences in Forgotten Runiverse: Combat, Land, Crafting, and the Font of Memories. Here’s how each one works:

Combat

In FR, players can engage in active turn-based combat. Equip, cast, and even combine spells to defeat enemies! The Active Time Bar (ATB) at the top of the screen tracks each character’s turn to act. Players can work together by combining their spells with each other’s – and by timing them right through the ATB.

Land

Land is an important part of the Runiverse. Plot NFTs will become the main source of materials, act as social hubs, and enable actions from crafting to trading to advancement through the game loop. Plot size and region will determine resource amount and utility, although each plot will have its own unique mix of resources. Plot owners will also be able to rent out their plot – or a few parts of it. 

Crafting

Crafting is the backbone of the Forgotten Runiverse player-driven economy. Craft items in-game, mint them onchain. Once the game launches, these items will become NFTs on Ronin. Learn more about crafting here.

The Font of Memory

The Font of Memories gives players a chance to acquire materials, gold, and special items using Mana. It's also where some players can win a Land Plot! Get Mana by sacrificing equipment or buying it outright.
