Preseason 4 will uphold the core rules from past Preseasons, so don’t worry this is your first time entering Puffverse. In this article, we’ll cover a few key details to make sure that every Puff is well-informed and equipped to make the most of this thrilling new chapter!

Pass prices can fluctuate based on market conditions, Puff NFT floor prices, previous season participation, etc. With future $PUFF purchases, Pass prices will align with the $PUFF price as each season starts. Pass prices will be unveiled before each season launch.

How to Participate in League Preseason 4
There are a few steps to complete before you can jump into the Preseason. Check out a broad outline below, and look for the more detailed overview later in the article.
Step 1: Download PuffGo and PuffTown apps
Step 2: Own or buy a Puff NFT
Step 3: Redeem Free Chances or Passes to get access to League
Step 4: Connect your Ronin Wallet and play PuffGo!
Here are a few other things to keep in mind:
• You MUST own at least 1 Puff NFT to join the League
• All Puff NFTs collections (except for Puff Classic NFTs) come with Free Chances, which you can redeem for entry tickets into the League. They can also reset each game season. Note that the 2 Free Chances of the Puff General NFTs DO NOT reset with the game season change.
• Once you've used all your Free Chances of your Puff NFTs, you can choose to purchase Passes for 2 USDC each to participate in the League. However, for either Free Chances or Passes, you MUST own at least 1 Puff NFT from any series.
Players can join and win in League matches to increase their Leaderboard Ranks. Higher ranks, more rewards. League rewards include USDC and vePUFF tokens from Prize Pools.

Why You Need to Own Puff NFTs
Owning a Puff NFT is the key to participating in Preseason. Players need to lock their Puff NFTs into the PuffGo game via PuffTown before participating in the League. Feel free to click here to view the detailed tutorial on how to lock your NFT.
Any Puff NFT collection can participate in the PuffGo League! The number of Free Chances for each type of Puff NFT is shown in the image below:

If you don't have a Puff NFT yet, you can purchase Puff NFTs on Mavis Market. Don’t forget to check the Free Chances of the Puff NFT you’re buying!
During Preseason 4, Free Chances will not be refreshed or reset. The Free Chances for Puff Genesis and limited-edition Puff NFTs will only refresh at the start of the next season.
How to Join League to Increase Your Ranks
Preseason 4 ranking will be determined by your rank in the League.
If your Puff NFTs have no Free Chances, such as Puff Classic, or you need more opportunities to participate in the League, you'll need to purchase Passes using USDCin PuffTown to participate in the League with your Puff NFTs during Preseason.
Improve your rank by participating in and winning League matches. Ranks can also decrease if you fail in the first round of the match or miss playing for over 5 days. Watch out for these rank-decreasing risks! Remember that higher ranks mean greater rewards from the Preseason 4 Prize Pools.
Puff Tips
As mentioned above, note there is an inactive period in the League! If you fail to participate in the League for more than 5 days when you are Amber or above, your rank stars will be deducted which may result in the rank decrease. Skill to Earn consistently and proficiently for the utmost returns!

After the Preseason ends, all eligible players can claim their deserved rewards on the Game page in the PuffTown App! Meanwhile, you can also check your game records and ranking in PuffTown at any time!

Preseason 4 Rewards Distribution
Redeem Free Chances from your Puff NFTs to participate in the League and increase your rank. Once all your Free Chances are used, you can use USDC to purchase Passesto continue participating in the League.
90% of the USDC paid by players for Pass purchases will be allocated to the Basic Prize Pool! Therefore, the more Passes you purchase, the greater the Basic Prize Pool will be; The higher your ranking is, the more USDC rewards you will share from the Basic Prize Pool.
In addition to the USDC rewards, Puff has also prepared up to 7,500 vePUFF as rewards. 10% of this amount will be allocated to the Basic Prize Pool, and 90% will go to the Top 100 Prize Pool.

Basic Prize Pool
All players with the Rank Gold or above are eligible to share rewards from the Basic Prize Pool, which is comprised of 3 parts:
- 3,000 USDC rewards from the Puffverse team
- 90% of the Pass income in USDC
- 750 vePUFF rewards
Top 100 Prize Pool
The Top 100 Pool boasts a staggering reward of up to 6,750 vePUFF! While the generosity of this prize is undeniable, it is reserved only for those who have proven their mettle! Prize Pool sharing eligibility is restricted to players who have attained the Rank Amber or Archdemon and also have reached the top 100.
The coveted vePUFF windfall will be distributed exclusively among the top 100 participants.
PuffGo Referral Rewards
It’s time to welcome the freshman Puffs to our family!
OG Puffs, please invite your friends to join the game. You and your invited friends will both get rewards!
Users who registered after the September 10th Medium post will receive 10 IGO Points and 6,000 Coins if they participate in at least 1 League match. They’ll also get 20 extra IGO Points if these players rank Silver and above in the first 3 days after registration.
OG Puffs who invite others to register and play PuffGo League will receive 5 IGO Points each and part of the 2,000 USDC Prize Pool according to the number of users they invite. Invite at least 2 new users to share in the USDC prize pool, or else you can only get the IGO Points. The rank will be settled when the Preseason ends
There will be an overall of 250,000 IGO Points to distribute. First come, first served! Grab your chance to win the IGO Points and USDC!

League Bug Bounty
We will also offer a Bug Bounty specially for the League. If you have encountered any bugs or inconveniences during the gaming experience in either PuffGo or PuffTown, feel free to report them in Puff Discord. If your Bug is verified, you will get 20 IGO points in rewards! Let’s build a stronger Puffverse together.
Skill to Earn in PuffGo
What matters the most in Preseason 4 is still the rank – the higher, the better. You can either Skill to Earn non-stop, or work with your teammates and fight for a better rank. Let’s review the ranking details again!
There are different Rank Levels that share different rewards. The Archdemon is the highest rank with the most rewards from each Prize Pool to be obtained! Rewards will be settled and distributed after Preseason 4
Make sure you have your Free Chances or Passes to join the League. Rank Gold and above can share the Basic Prize Pool while rank Amber and above can share BOTH Basic and Top 100 Prize Pools with massive rewards. Remember to get yourself some new Puff friends by inviting them to the game!
