The Ronin Bridge <> Chainlink CCIP migration is complete! Last year, Ronin Validators voted to adopt Chainlink CCIP to serve as our network’s canonical cross-chain infrastructure. Chainlink won out with 10 votes, while LayerZero came in second with 3 votes, and Axelar third with 0 votes.
Today, all tokens previously held on the deprecated Ronin Bridge are now on CCIP. This marks the final step in the deprecated bridge’s migration, and the beginning of a new era in bridge security on Ronin. Here’s what’s happening:

Step 1: Go to the Ronin Bridge app and connect your Ronin Wallet
Step 2: Select your origin and destination chains
Step 3: Find the token you’d like to bridge
Step 4: Choose the token with which you’d like to pay the fee

Calling all WBTC holders! CCIP supports bridging WBTC between Ronin <> Ethereum using a new smart contract address. That means you’ll need to swap your WBTC 1:1 from the old contract to the new one if you’d like to bridge WBTC from Ronin to Ethereum. There is no deadline to swap.
