Key Points

  • Welcome to Ronin, CARV! CARV is on a mission to give users more agency over their personal data. They’ve joined the Ronin movement to help gamers build their on-chain identity and earn rewards for their data. Our game studios will be able to leverage CARV’s toolkit to better identify potential users and retain existing players based on on-chain and off-chain behaviors.
  • Ronin Users can participate in the CARV Data-to-Earn campaign by connecting their wallet and receiving $SOUL drop. Check out the overview below and visit CARV’s website for more info on getting started.
  • CARV is also bringing CARV Play and soulbound NFT badges to Ronin. We’re excited to see how our game studios partners bring CARV Play to the communities and award their in-game achievements, on-chain histories, event participation, special contributions, and more.
The CARV Protocol’s design

What is CARV Protocol?

CARV Protocol consists of a self-sovereign identity (SSI) oracle and incentivized data-sharing protocol. It empowers users to share value captured from the utility of data in a content-based and privacy-preserving mechanism.

CARV Data-to-Earn Campaign

CARV’s Data-to-Earn campaign is here, and some features are already available to users with a Ronin Wallet. Complete challenges to earn on-chain $SOUL, which you can redeem for $ARC in the future. The quests are similar to what you might have experienced with Moku, although you’ll have to complete a few actions outside of the Ronin ecosystem to get started. Check out CARV’s website for more information!

✍️
Note : Before participating in CARV Data-to-Earn, you need to mint CARV ID as per the guide here
💡
$SOUL: a non-transferable token that in the future will be redeemable for on-chain $ARC – CARV’s future governance token

CARV Play

CARV Play is a dApp built on top of the CARV Protocol. It enables gamers to build credential-based player profiles and own soulbound NFT badges linked to their gaming data. They’ve already awarded badges to their users for things like in-game achievements, on-chain histories, event participation, special contributions, and more. We’re looking forward to seeing how our game studio partners and CARV can help build similar features for Ronin users.

Final Thoughts

2024 is off to a blistering start. We’ve forged new alliances with partners like CARV, Presail, and Footprint Analytics – and this is just the beginning. Stay tuned for more info about new protocols and partners coming to Ronin. Let’s keep building!
