What is Lumiterra?

Lumiterra is a free-to-play, cross-platform MMORPG game that combines survival, crafting, exploration and more. Battle against NPC monsters to level-up your character, or tame them for extra help on your farm. Plant seeds, water plants, fertilize soil, and harvest the fruits of your labors. Craft items, trade them with other players, and forge alliances with other players to complete quests – and use RON as an in-game currency in CBT!

The Lumiterra ecosystem has a lot going on from in-game items to NFTs to a DeFi protocol called Lumi Finance. Whether you’re looking for a fun game or a cutting-edge Web3 experience, there are many experiences for a variety of player archetypes. Here’s how to get started:

How to Play Lumiterra

If everything goes according to plan, Lumiterra’s CBT will launch in July and will feature a whopping $1M USD worth of prizes! These prizes include RON, in-game items, allowlist spots for a future paid Lumiterra NFT mint, and more.

Battle, Craft and Farm

In Lumiterra, players roam free in an open-world filled with challenges and opportunities. What will you do when hostile monsters attack? The choice is yours: fight back, run away, or even tame them for your farm! Your character will level-up over time as you gain more experience in three specializations: combat, agriculture, and gathering. Fight monsters to gain combat EXP, tame them to gain agriculture EXP, and so on.

Players who specialize in combat can battle their way towards more powerful weapons – like swords instead of fists. Those who specialize in agriculture skills can become more efficient tamers who then produce more resources. Resources are the key to crafting better items from equipment to weapons to materials and more. Your speciality is your destiny. However, you can always choose to level-up in all three specialities or forge alliances with other players to complement each other’s strengths.

Quests, Alliances, and PvP

The Lumiterra team has designed beginner quests to help new players get started in the game. Once you’ve logged in for the first time, you’ll meet Gunner the knight. Get to know him and complete the quests he gives you! You’ll learn how to slay monsters, plant crops, gather resources, and even battle bosses. 

Once you’ve completed the beginner quests, you’ll enter Lumiterra’s main storyline. This is a series of optional quests and side-quests. Explore them to level-up faster, or jump right into the MMO part of the game – the choice is yours.

Final Thoughts

One year ago, there were only a handful of games on Ronin and about 50K DAU. Today, there are multiple gaming universes built on Ronin – and DAU has surged past 1.5M. Lumiterra’s migration is yet another step forward for our movement, and we’re excited to welcome them onto Ronin. Let’s keep pushing!
