What is Tatsumeeko?

Tatsumeeko: Lumina Fates is a free-to-play life simulation RPG game with a Telegram integration spin-off called Lumina Hunt. Battle in turn-based combat, forge alliances and complete quests with friends, furnish the interior of your home — and more. In Tatsumeeko: Lumina Fates, players experience a balance of magical duels and laid-back homemaking. Go hard or take it easy: the choice is yours. If everything goes according to plan, the game will enter its beta phase in Q4 2024.

Over the past year, we’ve seen new types of games attract fresh player archetypes to our movement. For example, Pixels brought more casual gamers to Ronin and Lumiterra opened a portal to new geographic regions. Tatsumeeko’s Lumina Hunt integration opens yet another portal straight into gamer country — this time through Telegram, the messaging app with almost 1B monthly active users.

Tatsumeeko’s Three-Part Ecosystem

There are three distinct parts to Tatsumeeko’s ecosystem: Lumina Hunt, Tatsugotchi, and Lumina Fates — the main game. Here’s how each one works:

Tatsumeeko: Lumina Hunt

Lumina Hunt is Tatsumeeko’s Telegram game and it will go LIVE on Ronin before the end of the year! It’s a casual, idle version of the full game — Tatsumeeko: Lumina Fates. Capture Lumins, send them on expeditions, and ascend them to earn off-chain Vabloons. Vabloons are off-chain points that will later be redeemable to $TATSU - tokens which power the entire Tatsumeeko ecosystem. The higher your Lumins’ tiers, the more Vabloons you can earn. Get even MOAR Vabloons by referring friends or letting loot accumulate over time as you climb the Lumina Hunt leaderboard.

Tatsu.GG

Tatsu.GG, a Discord-based content system, features collection and idle RPG elements, allowing players to collect and trade resources across Discord. It’s used in over 1.5 million Discord communities and reaches over a 120 million users across these communities. Tatsugotchi is a Discord-based pet simulator game that has been built on the Tatsu.GGplatform, where players have been able to play with their pets, build your own house, and customize both to their hearts' content.

Tatsumeeko: Lumina Fates

Tatsumeeko is the full life-simulation RPG game built by Tatsu Works. In the game, players control an avatar called an Awakener, and embark on an epic story-driven journey across the enchanting world of Ielia. Customize your Awakener, level-up your equipment, and defeat your enemies in battle as you travel through an expansive, modern-fantasy universe. Experience elements of strategy and homey, life-sim adventures.

The Tatsu Works team plans to host closed and open beta tests of Tatsumeeko over the next few months. If everything goes according to plan, the migration of their Meekolony Passes NFTs onto Ronin and their token is slated to launch in parallel and in support of their subsequent product flywheels.

Lumina Hunt Gameplay

Lumina Hunt is the casual, idle version of Tatsumeeko’s full game — Lumina Fates. In Lumina Hunt, players capture Lumins, earn Vabloons, embark on expeditions, and more! Here’s an overview of how it works:

Introducing Lumins

Lumins are mystical creatures in the Tatsumeeko ecosystem. Capture them using your Capture Device — the higher your Lumins’ tiers, the more rewards you can earn. Send your captured Lumins on expeditions to earn more rewards and upgrade your Lumins.

How Expeditions Work

Send teams of four Lumins on time-based missions to earn in-game resources. There are two types of Expeditions: those that yield upgrade materials, and those that yield Vabloons rewards. In the first kind, use your hard-won resources to upgrade Lumins. In the second kind, stack Vabloons for a chance at future rewards.

What are Vabloons?

Vabloons are off-chain points. If everything goes according to plan, they will later be redeemable for $TATSU tokens. Get Vabloons by catching and ascending Lumins, embarking on expeditions, and claiming Daily Loot! Refer friends to Tatsumeeko to increase your Vabloon limit.

What are Arcanas?

Arcanas are rare items you can equip to your Lumins. Acquire Arcanas through expeditions to boost your Lumins abilities and improve Daily Loot rewards.

Referrals

To refer someone to Lumina Hunt, navigate to the Friends menu and access the referral page. Copy your personal referral link and share it with friends. You can earn Vabloon Stash points from their in-game actions once they reach level 5 using your link.

Tatsumeeko: Lumina Fates Gameplay

Lumina Fates is Tatsumeeko’s full game, and it takes place in the same universe as Lumina Hunt. In Lumina Fates, Lumins make up the heart and soul of your team. These powerful companions are more than just cute allies; they’re the cornerstone of your success, and they come in all shapes, sizes, and abilities. There are over 80 different Lumins to collect through a seasonal Gacha system — from common creatures to elusive 5-star legends. Watch your team evolve as you assemble your squad of four to take on formidable foes.

As you adventure through Lumina Fates, take a break to rest and relax on your very own floating island. With an extensive array of furniture options—ranging from wallpapers and rugs to exotic furniture sets—you can create a space within your home that feels truly yours. Every piece of furniture you place adds buffs that can power up your combat abilities, particularly the fearsome Lumia Beam attack. The challenge lies in mastering the furniture placement algorithm—sometimes less is more when it comes to maximizing your combat boost.

About Tatsu Works

Tatsu Works is the game studio that built the platform Tatsu.GG. Launched in 2016, the team pioneered some of the first Discord-based gamification integrations. The platform evolved with gamified features and small-scale minigames like the pet simulator — Tatsugotchi.
